These individual and package components include the same designs as the customized Pre-Packaged Recordable Solutions but offer the elegant background image allowing videographers the ability to customize these elements themselves.
The Design-Only components are designed to give the videographer more flexibility in delivering a fully personalized and professional end product to their customers. “The new line of Design-Only templates was a result of the high demand we found for generic templates at the 2004 WEVA Convention,” states Tim Montague, Creative Director at Chicago Digital Post. “Videographers who create their own DVDs were looking for attractive packaging they could customize themselves. Each printed component is printed using superior quality, full color laser printing on high quality semi-gloss inkjet paper providing the ability to be printed over with any text desired. The main benefit to Laser printing is that it eliminates any risk of smears or color bleeds to ensure a flawless finished product. The Design-Only Packaging components include DVD case outer wraps and case insert cards. Also available are ‘edge-to-edge’ digitally thermal printed discs which will not scratch, smudge, smear or fade and matches the quality, appearance and durability of the silk-screened DVDs and CDs found in retail stores.
